When should you start looking for a ski home?
August is one of the best times to begin your search. Inventory is still available, competition hasn't yet peaked, and buyers who prepare before everyone else starts thinking about winter are often in the strongest position to find the right property.
By August, we've usually seen the largest wave of new listings that arrive in late spring and early summer. Some of those properties have already sold, but new listings continue to trickle onto the market throughout the summer, making it an important time to keep watching.
