At the Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate 2025 Luxury Real Estate Fall Conference, Larry Lawrence, Principal broker and CEO of Lawrence Realty was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award to commend his life’s work and his unwavering dedication to his company and community.
Lifetime achievement is more than a successful career, it's working in a place that you want to live and embracing the lifestyle with the people you love. I love the mountains and the ocean. I grew up in Chicago and served in the Navy as a deck officer, traveling across the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. After leaving the Navy in 1969, I visited my cousin in Olympic Valley, California, and fell in love with mountains. I skied 126 days that winter, then spent three months in the Bahamas on his yacht. I attended vet school for one year, after reflecting, I told the Dean at the school... my father had worked his whole life and died eight years after he retired, so I had decided to live life on my own terms. Play while you're young and work when I'm older and make Olympic Valley my home. My cousin had a huge influence on my life introducing me to both Olympic Valley and the Bahamas.
